Master Yoga Training for Teachers and all Movement Professionals
Watch Promo
The Applied Yoga Back and Abdominal Strength Course is an in depth training for all yoga teachers, advanced practitioners and movement professionals.
We have all heard that if you have low back pain, strengthen your core. But the question remains, exactly what is the core? The core consists of the abdominal muscles, multifidus, glutes, psoas and quadratus lumborum. Combined, this group of muscles make up what is known as the powerhouse 5. When they are all active and awakened, the chance for back pain or injury is greatly reduced.
In this course you will learn to stabilize your spine through the activation of the core muscles. The yogic variation of the birddog is taught as are do-able variations of warrior III, locust and sphinx pose. The techniques taught will allow you to feel confident working with most anyone with back pain, including those with disc issues, sciatica, and sprained ligaments.
Take a major step in your career and join the increasing community of professionals blending ancient eastern practices with the intelligence of western science.
