Master Yoga Training for Teachers and all Movement Professionals

The Applied Yoga Knee Stability Course is an in depth training for all yoga teachers, advanced practitioners and movement professionals.
The knee is one of the most injured joints in the body. Comprised of the femur, tibia and patella the joint is only stabilized by 4 main ligaments. This leaves the knee vulnerable and necessitates that the muscles around it be strong and supple.
Assuring that the knee can reach full flexion and extension, along with a bit of rotation is paramount in its health. In the Applied Yoga Knee Stability Course students are taught to blend traditional asana with functional movement. This allows for the practice to be an assessment and treatment for the knee. You will learn what you are capable of, what needs work, and why you may be having pain or weakness. At the end of the course, you will have a more profound understanding of the body and a new set of tools to work with pain and dysfunction.
The Applied Yoga Knee Stability Course is one of a kind in the field of yoga, movement and assessment.
Take a major step in your career and join the increasing community of professionals blending ancient eastern practices with the intelligence of western science.

In this program you'll learn how to work with:
- Knee pain, including walking up and down stairs
- Lack of range of motion in the joint
- Isometric contractions to create stability
- How to strengthen the Vastus Medialis
- The importance of increasing knee flexion
- Eccentric control techniques for rectus femoris
Ultimately, the end goal of this program is to help you become the best yoga teacher possible, heal people with knee pain and get more students for your classes and yoga privates.
