The Applied Yoga Neck and T-Spine Mobility Course is an in depth advanced training for all yoga teachers, advanced practitioners and movement professionals
The neck and thoracic spine are directly related. What takes place in one of these areas will have an effect on the other. When working with anyone who has discomfort in either, it is important to assess and treat the mobility of each.
If you have ever had neck pain you know it can be tricky to work with. That is because what takes place in the neck is rarely the fault of the neck alone. The human head weighs 8-12 pounds and when the thoracic spine has become stuck, it can actually feel more like 20-30. Correcting thoracic spine mobility is crucial to working with any neck, back or ever shoulder discomfort.
Throughout this course, students are taught to blend traditional asana with functional movement. This allows for the practice to be an open investigation of joint mechanics, movement capability and motor control. Whatever issue you may be having, you will have a more profound understanding and a new set of tools to work with it by the end of this course.
The Applied Yoga Shoulder Mobility Program is one of a kind in the field of yoga, movement and assessment.
Take a major step in your career and join the increasing community of professionals blending ancient eastern practices with the intelligence of western science.
